Il coro "Lake Sound Gospel" nasce nel 2006 all'interno della scuola di musica "RockalForte" di Rivoli Veronese (VR) con l'intento di avvicinare le persone ad un genere ancora poco conosciuto in Italia. Dopo un'esperienza all'interno della scuola di musica "Moderna" di Bardolino (VR), nel 2019 si è costituito in associazione culturale che attualmente ha sede nel territorio del comune di Costermano sul Garda.
La direzione artistica è affidata alla maestra Rossana D'Auria e l'accompagnamento strumentale al pianista Corrado Sala.
L'organico vocale consta attualmente di 20 coristi suddivisi nelle 4 sezioni polifoniche: soprani, contralti, tenori e bassi.
L'associazione culturale
L' associazione culturale "Lake Sound Gospel" è rappresentata da un Consiglio Direttivo formato da 5 membri: Francesca Zampini (Presidente), Francesco Faccioli (Vicepresidente e Segretario), Marisa Favini (Tesoriere), Stefano Pachera (Consigliere) e Mauro Pasquali (Consigliere).
Il repertorio
Il repertorio comprende principalmente canti appartenenti alla tradizione afro-americana (gospel, negro spiritual), ma spazia anche in altri generi della musica contemporanea (pop, soul, rock). Questi i brani attualmente in repertorio:
